1. The Haunted Bay Ghost Tour

This one’s a personal favorite. The Haunted Bay offers an authentic experience with guides who are true paranormal investigators. They don’t just tell stories—they share firsthand encounters and evidence from their investigations. You’ll visit some of the most haunted spots in the Bay Area, including stopping outside of abandoned buildings in Berkeley and looking for ghosts in the eerie alleyways of Chinatown San Francisco.

What makes this tour stand out? It’s the mix of history and real ghost-hunting techniques. You get to use equipment like EMF meters and see real paranormal evidence gathered by the tour creators. It’s interactive and can get genuinely spooky!

2. Alcatraz Night Tour: Ghosts of the Rock

Alcatraz Island isn’t just famous for its prison history—it’s also a hotspot for paranormal activity. The night tour takes you inside the prison after dark, where the atmosphere is thick with mystery. Visitors have reported strange noises, cold spots, and shadowy figures.

This tour is a must for anyone fascinated by haunted prisons. The guides share chilling stories of former inmates and guards who might still be lingering in the shadows.

What to Expect on a San Francisco Ghost Tour

Going on a ghost tour is not just about hearing spooky stories. It’s about feeling the vibe of the place, sensing the unknown, and maybe even catching a glimpse of something otherworldly. Here’s what you should know before you go:

It's been quite a colorful month. We have been running our usual dark and scary tours for adults, paranormal enthusiasts and horror fans. But we have also run a custom tour for families with younger children. On our Berkeley Haunted Hike, we took some parents and children through the first half of the tour, taking them to fun spooky places on the Cal campus and told them family friendly versions of the ghost stories. We will soon run another shorter family friendly version in San Francisco as well. So we can always work with you, your family or company to fit your needs and interests. Happy Halloween!

Spooky season is approaching fast and one of the best ways of celebrating is going on a ghost tour. For our subscribers, use the promo code Thehauntedbay10 to get 10% off. The Haunted Bay offers ghost tours in Berkeley and San Francisco. What makes us different is that these tours were developed after many years of filming paranormal investigations in the Bay Area. We went from students learning how to make videos at Laney College in Oakland to having our own series, The Haunted Bay, on Amazon Prime and AsianAmericanMovies.com (Older episodes are on Youtube). Our ghost stories are true. We share many stories of what happened to us while we were filming investigations in haunted locations throughout the Bay Area. We share with you what happened to members of the Alameda Paranormal Researchers, a paranormal investigation team that was based on the USS Hornet, one of America's most haunted ships. We also talk to you about our experiences with a very talented local psychic medium and author, June Ahern. Everyone is from the Bay Area. So if you are considering a fun fall event and want to support a local business built from the ground up, The Haunted Bay Ghost Tours are the way to go!
